Zoom Balls

Our kitchen herbal magic is continuing. Here is a recipe, originally formulated by Rosemary Gladstar, and its purpose is to again, blend herbs in a tasty form so we can take them with pleasure and joy. This balls include herbs that lift up your energy all the way until is time for bed. Enjoy!




The base ingredients

2 cups of tahini (sesame butter)

2 cups almond butter (or any nut butter will do)

1 1/2 cup of honey (start with 1 cup and add if you need more)

2 tsp of cardamom powder

1/2 tsp of nutmeg powder



2-4 oz guarana powder

2 oz kola nut powder

2 oz rhodiola powder

1 oz eleuthro powder

1/2 ginseng powder


Optional (highly recommended)

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup coconut

1/2 cup chopped nuts

1/4 cup goji berries

…or hemp, chia, etc.


Mix the base ingredients well, so honey can be evenly distributed. Add powdered herbs, and at the end optional mix ins. Roll the balls the size of a golf ball, and cover them with coconut, cocoa powder, carob, etc. Take one a day, I would say morning time, so you have more energy to carry you throughout the day. This herbs are not for children, so keep the balls stored in cool and dry place and away from little ones. They will keep for weeks.
